Solar Mamamoo is known as one of the Korean artists whose body is not only slim but also athletic. He does exercise regularly and maintains his diet, as is often shown in various TV programs and YouTube videos. Despite producing a good body shape, Solar’s diet makes him look out of focus.
In the Boss in the Mirror program that aired on KBS2 recently, Solar showed her body shape as well as her way of exercising which amazed her. It was also revealed that the Mamamoo leader managed to reduce 7.4% of his body fat in just two months of diet and exercise. When showing how he exercises in his daily life, the K-Pop idol even makes him worry because he doesn’t look fit.
At the event, Solar was shown exercising with a trainer. But different from his usual energetic appearance at that time, the MC realized that he was not focused. It was recognized by Solar himself as an effect of his diet.
“Every moment is tough and my eyes lose focus,” he says during his workout.
Solar Mamamoo also revealed the food consumed that day. It is said that he only ate some lettuce, 150 grams of meat, two boiled eggs, and half an apple. Realizing that the diet is not healthy but he admits that it is part of his job and has no other choice but to diet strictly and there will be a photoshoot shortly.
The vocalist is often a conversation because of his diet tips. Previously he had revealed that he could lose 2 kg in three days which surprised many people. Diets are extreme. For breakfast, he eats half an apple, sweet potato to get carbohydrate intake, and a glass of soy milk which is lower in calories than cow’s milk.
For lunch, the 29-year-old singer had two meals interspersed a few hours before going to dinner. For the first lunch he chose carbohydrates from brown rice plus a chicken breast and a bag of grapes containing 15 pieces.
For the second lunch, MAMAMOO’s Solar ate one chicken breast and one persimmon. Meanwhile, for dinner, he ate two eggs and one persimmon.
