On August 4, tvN will air The Road: Tragedy of One. Played by Ji Jin Hee, Yoon Se Ah, Seo Ki Tae, and Kim Hye Eun, this drama is about secrets, guilt, and the safety of the people who live in Royal the Hill.

Baek Soo Hyun (Ji Jin Hee), a news anchor with strong convictions, will uncover the truth behind mysterious cases and always get what he wants. He is married to Seo Eun Soo (Yoon Se Ah), the daughter of the chairman of Jegang Group (Seo Ki Tae), who has great influence in the economic and political fields.

2. Police University

Police University is about a detective who catches criminals and a former hacker who can solve any case. Cha Tae Hyun is cast as Yoo Dong Man, a professor with 20 years of experience as a detective and cyber investigation team.

Kang Sun Ho (Jung Jin Young), a hacker who becomes a first-year student at a police university. Meanwhile, Krystal is lined up as Oh Kang Hee, a first-year student who doesn’t hold any secrets or grudges. Police University airs August 9 on KBS.

3. Second Husband

On August 9, MBC will be broadcasting Second Husband which is about Bong Seon Hwa (Uhm Hyun Kyung), who lives in an underprivileged family. Since childhood, he grew up side by side with Moon Sang Hyuk (Han Ki Woong).

However, when he loses his family to a tragedy, he vows to take revenge.

4. Check Out The Event

Pairing Kwon Hwa Woon and Girl’s Day’s Min Ah, this drama tells the story of an ex-lover couple who won a prize on a trip they took before breaking up. The two pretend to be a couple again so they can take a free tour on Jeju Island.

5. Lovers of The Red Sky


In August, SBS will air the drama Saeguk, Lovers of The Red Sky. In collaboration with Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop, this drama is about Hong Chun Gi (Kim Yoo Jung), the first female painter in the Joseon era who has extraordinary artistic abilities.

One day, he meets Ha Ram (Ahn Hyo Seop), who is in charge of astronomy, geography, the art of forecasting, and meteorology. Even though Ha Ram lost her sight, Chun Gi still loves Ha Ram. The drama is expected to air on August 23.

6. Flying Butterflies
