This drama is about a murder mystery that must be solved by Se-Yeon (Han Ga-in), Eun-soo (Shin Hyun-bin), Jung-won (Choi Hee-Seo), and Hwa-young (Goo Jae-yee). Mistress is a remake of the British television series Mistresses which aired on BBC One in 2008.

Through Love Alarm, Jung Ga-ram’s name was discussed because of her role as the second lead named Lee Hye-young, a high school student. Hye-young has been friends with Hwang Sun-oh (Song Kang) since childhood because her mother works as a housemaid at Sun-oh’s house. Their friendship was tested when they met a girl at school named Kim Jo-jo (Kim So-Hyun).

This Korean drama is indeed a love triangle from the start. Hye-young, who became the second lead, suddenly experienced character development into the boy Jo-jo chose in the last episode. Their story also made the audience curious who finally continued on season 2.

6. When the Camellia Blooms (2019)

When the Camellia Blooms became the best Korean drama at the 2020 Baeksang Awards. This drama tells the story of a single mother named Dong-Baek (Gong Hyo-jin) with her son, Pil-gu (Kim Kang-hoon). They had just moved to a small town and set up a bar business. However, their efforts have become the subject of gossip, because of Dong-bank’s widowed status.

In this drama, Jung Ga-ram only appears briefly, even only appearing at the end of the episode. He plays the adult Pil-gu who has become a famous Korean baseball athlete. Although briefly, his presence was successful as a factor in increasing the rating of this Korean drama.
