Specialist film artists, Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol are ready to return to the small screen with JTBC’s new drama titled Lost.
This drama tells the story of a woman in her 40s and a 27-year-old boy who realizes that they are nothing at that age.

1. Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol’s small screen comeback
Getting the nickname as chungmuro artists, Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol are South Korean role artists who play movies more often than dramas.
Because of that, their names may not be so familiar among international Korean drama fans. However, regarding the problem of acting, there is no need to doubt it.
After starring in the drama The Good Wife in 2016, Jeon Do Yeon finally returned to the small screen with the drama Lost.
This JTBC drama also marks the comeback of Ryu Jun Yeol’s drama in 5 years after the drama Lucky Romance which aired in 2016.
2. A melodrama about a realistic adult story
The melodrama genre, Lost will tell the story of ordinary people who realize that they have not become anything in their lives.
Lost will focus on a woman in their 40s and a 27-year-old man who is hitting rock bottom in their lives.

Jeon Do Yeon will play Boo Jung, a woman in her 40s who works as a shadow writer. Even though Boo Jung has tried her best, she still loses the meaning of life when facing her biggest failure.
When Boo Jung sees a sharp decline in life, she immediately dives into the darkness. Boo Jung is a character who has a wide spectrum of emotions.
Through this role, Jeon Do Yeon will portray various emotional developments of Boo Jung’s character from loss, anxiety, emptiness, to loneliness.
According to the drama’s production team, Jeon Do Yeon successfully demonstrated his ability to portray these subtle inner emotions.
4. Ryu Jun Yeol transformed into a 27-year-old boy who was afraid that his future wasn’t promising
In the drama Lost, Ryu Jun Yeol will transform into a 27-year-old boy named Kang Jae.
Kang Jae works to run a service to fulfill the various requests of his clients. He is a risk seeker who works to overcome poverty.
Kang Jae tries to take various shortcuts while hoping to become a rich person with a higher social status.
But in reality, he feels he has achieved nothing when faced with such a steep struggle.
He also felt that he did not have a promising future. It was when he was at his lowest point that he met Boo Jung (Jeon Do Yeon).
In this drama, Ryu Jun Yeol will portray the psychological changes of the lost character Kang Jae. This complicated character will wander into an uncertain self with a reality that is also unstable.
5. Park Byung Eun to Apink’s Son Naeun also starred in the drama Lost
Besides Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol, the drama Lost also stars Park Byung Eun, Kim Hyo Jin, Park Ji Young, Yang Dong Geun, Son Naeun, and others.
In this drama, Park Byung Eun will play Jung Soo, the husband of Jeon Do Yeon’s character.
Meanwhile, actress Kim Hyo Jin will play Jung Soo’s first love named Kyung Eun.
Park Ji Young plays Ah Ran, a secretive actress who bonds with Boo Jung. This drama also marks Son Naeun’s latest acting project after the drama Dinner Mate which aired in 2020.
6. Drama debut of film director The Last Princess and writer Architecture 101
Drama Lost was also worked on by a film director and writer specialist. Lost will be the drama debut of director Hur Jin-Ho and writer Kim Ji Hye.
Since starting his career as a director in 1993, Hur Jin-Ho has produced various popular films, such as Christmas in August (1998), April Snow (2005), The Last Princess (2016), and many more.
Meanwhile, writer Kim Ji Hye is also famous for her films, such as Architecture 101 (2012), Hope (2013), and My Love My Bride (2014).
Through the film Hope, writer Kim Ji Hye even won the Best Screenplay award at the 2013 Blue Dragon Film Awards and 2014 Baeksang Arts Awards.
