Welcoming summer, Hospital Playlist 2 is one of the most awaited dramas. The first episode managed to score a translucent rating of 10%. One of the scenes that made the audience enthusiastic was the continuation of the love story of the Winter Garden couple, namely dr. Ahn Jeong-won (Yoo Yeon-seok) and Jang Gyeo-ul (Shin Hyun-bin).

The Gu Family Book is about the life of a gumiho demon who falls in love with a human. They finally gave birth to a half-human and gumiho child named Choi Kang-chi (Lee Seung-Gi). In the story of Choi Kang-chi, he is told to have a first love named Park Chung-jo (Lee Yu-bi).
Well, Yoo Yeon-Seok plays Chung-jo’s older brother named Park Tae-Seo. Unfortunately, Tae-Seo’s relationship with Kang-chi doesn’t go well because Tae-SEO has been brainwashed and believes that Kang-chi was the cause of his father’s death. 2. Reply 1944 (2013)

3. Warm and Cozy (2015)
This romantic Korean drama tells the story of the lives of a boy and girl who move to Jeju Island because they avoid the harsh city life and desire to start a new life. Yoo Yeon-Seok plays Baek Gun-woo, a chaebol boy who dreams of becoming a chef. Unfortunately, Gun-woo never takes his work seriously and goes his own way.
However, his mindset changes when he meets Lee Jung-Joo (Kang So-ra), a hardworking girl who recently lost her job, boyfriend, and apartment. He also moved to Jeju Island to start a new life. From his meeting with Jung-Joo, Gun-woo realized that he had been doing the wrong thing all this time.
Finally, Gun-woo pursues his restaurant business and learns to live independently away from the shadow of his family’s wealth. Through his captivating acting in this Korean drama, Yeon-Seok also received the “Top 10 Star Award” from the 2015 MBC Drama Awards.
4. Dr. Romantic (2016)
Before playing the character of a surgeon in Hospital Playlist, four years ago this 36-year-old actor had already played the same character in the drama, Dr. Romantic. During its broadcast, the ratings for this drama have always skyrocketed.
You could say Dr. Romantic is one of the best Korean dramas ever starring Yoo Yeon-Seok. Thanks to this drama, he has won several awards; “Excellent Actor”, “Best Couple” with Seo Hyun-jin, and “Best Kiss” through the 2016 SBS Drama Awards.
Dr. Romantic tells the story of Boo Yong-Joo, a great and genius doctor who works in a small hospital in a remote area. Then, he briefly disappeared and then appeared with the name Guru Kim (Han Suk-kyu). He also becomes a mentor to two young doctors named Kang Dong-Joo (Yoo Yeo-seon) and Yoon Seo-Jung (Seo Hyun-jin). Boo Yong-Joo taught the two doctors how to be great doctors and to have the courage to have integrity by fighting corruption that could harm patients.
5. Mr. Sunshine (2018)
Set in the Joseon era, this drama tells the story of a man who left Korea when he was a child and returned as an American soldier in 1871, when Korea was going through a period of change. In this Korean drama, Yoo Yeon-seok plays Goo Dong-mae, the son of a butcher who rises from the ranks of the Black Dragon Society, and becomes its leader.
Goo Dong-mae’s character has two different sides, namely someone who is cold, without hesitation hitting someone with his sword, but on the other hand is also filled with fiery affection for Go Ae-shin (Kim Tae-ri). The actor, Yoo Yeon-seok, has also managed to interpret his character with stunning acting.
